Attention: Newsroom Press Release Budde Inducted Into Junior Achievement Hall of Fame Michael Budde, President and CEO of Advanced Data-Comm, has been elected to Junior Achievement’s Tri-State Hall of Fame. Mr. Budde, along with Edward Babka and A.J. Spiegel, will be formally inducted at an invitation-only gala at Dubuque’s Grand River Convention Center on June 15, 2006. “The Tri-State Area Hall of Fame was founded in 1982 by Junior Achievement to recognize and present true success stories of business leaders within our community,” said Bob Woodward, Chairman of this year’s event. “By presenting these laureates to the tri-state area, Junior Achievement honors area successes while inspiring both adults and youth to aim for greatness.” Mr. Budde launched Advanced Data-Comm in 1988 and has built the company into one of the 50 largest inbound and outbound teleservices agencies worldwide. During this time, Mr. Budde has been the driving force behind his team’s uncompromising commitment to integrity, service excellence and state-of-the-art technology. This vision has resulted in Advanced Data-Comm receiving widespread industry recognition. This includes a 2005 MVP Gold Award, one of the industry’s highest honors for performance and customer satisfaction. Before founding Advanced Data-Comm, Mr. Budde spent sixteen years as a Sociology professor at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where he taught research methods and statistics. He earned his B.A. from Loras College and Master’s degrees from Marquette University and South Dakota State University, where he also completed coursework for a Ph.D. Mr. Budde has also served on the Board of Directors for various Dubuque-area organizations, including the Mercy Medical Center, the Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium, Holy Family Schools, the University of Dubuque and the Girl’s Club of Dubuque. He is a member of the Loras College National Alumni Board and was inducted into Customer Inter@ction Solutions’ Hall of Fame in 2005 for his outstanding contributions to the teleservices industry. Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating young people about business, economics and free enterprise.
